MOBILIZATION PLANS SPECIALIST (Title 32)

As a MOBILIZATION PLANS SPECIALIST (Title 32), GS-0301-11, you will develop plans, coordinate preparations for mobilization, and the deployment of available Army National Guard units. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list:
Analyze war plan missions assigned to the state's units and evaluate the capability of those units to meet requirements while considering mobilization capability and readiness. Take action to recommend mission changes or corrective measures when the mission is inappropriate. Research mobilization planning problems and provide commanders and staff with advisory services. Determine the need to develop a specific mobilization plan, special report, or to conduct a study. Analyze force structure changes for impact on the state and unit mobilization plans. Review and analyze higher headquarters plans and directives, and the development of policy guidance and implementing directives to subordinate units. Develop, analyze, and update mobilization plans and projects from conception to completion. Consolidate actions required to develop and maintain a command and control structure for mobilized units. Provide mobilization planning assistance to the state staff and subordinate staff and units. Coordinate with the Army CAPSTONE Program with peacetime and wartime chain of command. Coordinate CAPSTONE data and provide recommendations and changes based on geographic location, peacetime command and control requirements and structure consideration. Ensure the Mobilization Exercise Program is effective, sensitive to state specific missions and needs, and is coherently organized for effective implementation. Make recommendations on the planning, programming, and execution of mobilization exercise funds. Prepare and conduct instructions on mobilization preparedness and planning as required. Provide input concerning state military capabilities and requirements to the appropriate Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region and appropriate state agencies as required. Prepare briefings, fact sheets, and information papers as required by organization Assist in developing, coordinating, and conducting state and unit mobilization station coordination conferences. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
The areas of considerations for this position, Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code 709), will be in the following manner and sequence, The FIRST area of consideration for this position will be all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG. The SECOND area of consideration will be all current Federal Employees. The THIRD area of consideration will be all Federal re-employment eligible. The FOURTH area of consideration will be applicants willing to become T32 Dual Status Technicians and gain ILNG membership. The FIFTH area of consideration will U.S. Citizens. Military Grades:
Officer and Warrant Officer Only - Minimum rank requirement of 1LT and May not exceed the rank of MAJ. GENERAL
Experience:
Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-11 Level - Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
