Role Description:
SEA Group has an immediate need for a Lead Network Security Engineer located in Springfield, IL in the state government vertical.
This position requires strict discipline, confidential work and maintaining the integrity and security of the infrastructure. This position will guide Technicians in evaluating existing infrastructure and making design recommendations to management. This position is a lead role in the Network Infrastructure Division.

Strong communication skills, ability to communicate complex topics in clear, simple terms
Time management skills, ability to demonstrate progress on multiple concurrent activities

Ability to learn new business environments, applications, technologies, and processes quickly
Versatility/flexibility in consulting roles and willingness to perform multiple roles and hands-on administrative tasks to achieve project success, experience working in an environment where priorities change
Experience working as a consultant.
Mandatory Knowledge and Experience/Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Cisco based Firewalls
Cisco Web Security Appliances -
Cisco Intrusion prevention / detection/ log and packet analysis
TCP/IP troubleshooting
Support and configure SSL and IPSEC VPN on existing Cisco VPN infrastructure
Experience in WIFI deployment and administration
CCNA Certification
Security
Certification
Additional consideration maybe given to candidates that hold the following certifications:
McAfee EPO Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
