Description:
Proven ability to take project requirements and the logical data model and create the following:
Physical data model optimized for DB2/zOS and Websphere environment
Document representing details how the implementation will conform to required agency standards
The DBA will collaborate with the development team and be responsible for detailed DB design, implementation, testing, and deployment ensuring the technical integrity of the project.
Provide SQL performance tuning on both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments. Optimize DB2 Specialist utilization by tuning queries (static and dynamic), recommending indexes, and configuring database parameters.
Engage in data mining activities, assist in analysis of application errors, and define and execute queries needed to repair data in support of problem resolution.
Provide trend analysis, DB design, maintenance, performance optimization, monitoring, and operational support.
Provide on-call rotational 24/7 Incident Response to database alerts from production monitoring tools and Command Center personnel.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS
9 or more years of progressive responsibility and experience in application design and development

Required Skills:

DB2 v8 required
MVS z/OS
Stored procedures (COBOL and NATIVE), triggers and UDFs, RMF, SMF data

Preferred Skills:

SPUFI, QMF, OSC, BMC-DB2Mon, PowerDesigner, WebSphere

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
