SEA Group, a company that works for clients and consultants, is currently searching the globe for a Java Developer to join our team in Springfield, IL. If you are able to juggle, stand on your head, and play the guitar all at the same time, then this probably is not the position for you; however, if you are able to write code like Guido van Rossum and have Ken Thompson on your speed dial, then we want to talk to you.

While a complete description will be provided, for brevity though, we are providing some position highlights below:


3 years of Java Development experience
Familiar with the Eclipse IDE
Experience with Java web services; i.e. REST services
Experience with specific libraries including Jersey and JAVAX are desired
Understands the use of DB2 and drivers from neon/data direct to access a database through ODBC-JDBC. (Familiarity with the latter would be fantastic)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
