Overview:
$15,000 Sign On Bonus Opportunity
Responsible for delegation, supervision, and provision of nursing care for a designated group of patients through utilization of the nursing process. Provides age appropriate patient care. Participates in research when appropriate and incorporates research findings into clinical practice.
Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
- Current RN license in the State of Illinois required.
- Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS Provider or Instructor certification required within one year of hire date.
Education Requirements:
- BSN preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Performs age appropriate assessments.
Analyzes data to identify nursing problems.
Provides direct patient care, develops individualized plan of care in partnership with patients & families. Evaluates patient progress toward attainment of goals, revising plan of care when indicated.
Delegates patient care tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel based on job description and patient needs.
Appropriately supervises performance of LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel.
Builds teamwork when supervising and delegating to others.
Documents patient care according to policies and procedures.
