They're a leader within the industry, and have been in business for decades.
This is a rare opportunity to join their business at an Executive Level and truly serve as the most Senior Accounting & Finance leader is their largest North American Business Unit.
Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement or risk.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and regulatory compliance.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Supervise accounting staff and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Analyze product costs and profitability to optimize manufacturing processes and pricing strategies.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve operational efficiency.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support business operations and investment activities.
Monitor banking relationships and optimize banking services to minimize costs and maximize returns.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives and achieve company objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the business.

The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, MBA, is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Experience within the Manufacturing Industry, Automotive experience would be a huge plus!Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (e.
g.
, SAP, Oracle).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
